PC Gamers Network, (PCGN), was born June of year 2000 that was created for a few PC Gamer friends of mine.
Back then, most of us were still on dial-up playing Quake II. There was a small 12 slot Quake II Server hosted by The Internet Ramp, (TIR), a dial-up ISP which has since been bought out by Earthlink. The server was located in Michigan. This Quake II server was where I met my first online gamer friends and in order to keep in touch, I created a forum from a free based forum site so we could keep in touch. As more players knew about the forum, our newborn community took hold and it still lives today and has grown to what is now PC-Gamers.net.
Over the years, PCGN has been a part on many online PC Gamers. The members here are true gamers in the sense that they believe this online community is open to all players and clans from around the world.
